About Campaign Summary View Administration
As a ClearView administrator, you can assign pre-configured campaign summary views to your users on an individual basis. You can also share campaign summary views with users organization-wide or use role-by-role criteria. Access to the Campaign Summary Views portion of administrative features is available through the Administration link on the drop-down user menu.
Create campaign summary views within Profile application settings, using the Create New Campaign Summary View link on the Manage Campaign Summary Views screen.
For default campaign summary views, choose individuals or groups of people to receive the view from an easy-to-maneuver list of all available users. Users can be added to or removed from the list when they join or leave your organization or as their view needs to change.
For assigned campaign summary views, choose roles that can access the view, or assign it to your entire organization. As needed, add and remove roles and users from the list of those with whom the view is assigned.
If a user is added to a role or to the organization after a campaign summary view is assigned, that user is automatically provided access to any views previously assigned to their role and/or the entire organization.
Assigned campaign summary views cannot be edited by those users receiving the assignment. They can make a copy of the view, and alter it as desired, but the original configuration stays intact, unless adapted by the administrator that created the view. Changes made by the administrator are immediately reflected on the assigned user’s campaign summary view after their next refresh.
Individual user privileges determine whether users can copy campaign summary views and change default views. If you prefer that users not be able to change their default campaign summary view as set by your organization, adjust user privileges accordingly.
Assigned campaign summary views are available to users from their Switch Views drop-down menu, as well as through their Manage Campaign Summary Views list within Profile application settings.
Any campaign summary view assigned as default to users can be but does not have to be the same as your own personal default.
To select a campaign summary view as a default for a user or group of users, it must first be shared with users through the Assign Campaign Summary Views administrative feature.
If shared campaign summary views are no longer useful or applicable to assigned users, easily remove access to any view of this nature. Deleting a shared view also makes it unavailable at that point to any users with whom it was shared.
Configure campaign summary views that are helpful to users in varying roles, or across your organization. Arrange tabs in a way that guides users through a series of actions, supporting their task effectiveness, productivity, and daily routines.
