Use Locate to quickly pinpoint a prospect’s address on a map. Select an address, and a map application will launch with the prospect's address already plugged into the destination field. From there, use the map application's many helpful features like creating driving directions.
On an iPhone or iPad, ClearView CRM Mobile's Locate feature launches the Apple Maps application.
How can I see on a map where a prospect lives?
Locating a prospect's address on a map
- On My Homepage tap Locate.
- The Locate screen displays, which includes a list of your Recently Viewed prospects.
- Tap a Recently Viewed prospect from the list, or tap Search and enter a prospect's name.
- After tapping a prospect, the Select Address pop-up window displays.
- From the Select Address list, tap an address.
- The primary address is the first address listed.
- Tap Locate to find your prospect.
- A mapping application is launched, and a map displays that pinpoints the selected address.
- Towards the top-left of the screen, tap Back to ClearViewCRM Mobile to go back to the Locate screen.
Once your prospect is located, use the mapping application's features and determine the best route to reach your destination. On an iPhone or iPad, ClearView CRM Mobile's Locate feature launches the Apple Maps application.
Where can I record information about my visit with a prospect?
Creating an Action record for a prospect
- Search for a prospect.
- The Prospect Summary screen for the selected prospect displays.
- On the bottom of the screen, tap the clipboard icon.
- The Add Action screen displays.
- Enter information in the mandatory fields that are indicated with asterisks, and the Completed On date, and any additional details you want such as Action Type and Remark.
- Towards the top-right of the screen, tap Save.
- The Prospect Summary screen displays.
- Towards the bottom-right of the screen, tap the ellipsis icon. Then from the Go To menu, tap Actions to review the record you just created and any others you want.

Where can I record information about my visit with a major-gifts prospect?
Creating an Action record associated with an existing Opportunity record
- On My Homepage tap Opportunities.
- The Opportunities screen displays, defaulted to show your own active records (i.e., the filter towards the top-left of the screen is defaulted to Owned by me (Open)).
- Next to the drop-down menu, optionally tap the arrow icon to adjust the sort order of the list, or select another choice from the drop-down menu as you want.
- Tap a Proposal Number to view that opportunity.
- The Opportunities detail screen displays.
- Towards the bottom-left of the screen, from the footer bar tap the clipboard icon.
- The Add Action screen displays.
- The Opportunity field is automatically filled in, associating the action with the opportunity.
- Enter information in the mandatory fields that are indicated with asterisks and the Completed On date, and any additional details you want such as Action Type and Remark.
- Towards the top-right of the screen, tap Save.
- The Opportunities screen displays.
- Towards the bottom-right of the screen, tap the ellipsis icon, then Actions to review the record you just created and any others you want.
Additionally, you can work with an opportunity directly from a Prospect Summary record.
How do I update a record of a visit with a prospect to mark it as complete?

- Search for a prospect.
- The Prospect Summary screen for the selected prospect displays.
- Towards the bottom-left of the screen, tap the ellipses icon, then Actions to review a list of any existing actions on record for the prospect.
- The Actions screen displays.
- Tap the action that you want to complete.
- The Actions detail screen displays.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap the checkmark icon.
- The Complete Action screen displays.
- Edit the information as you want, such as adjusting the Completed On date or adding a Remark, and tap Save.
- The Action screen displays, with the Completed On date filled in indicating the action is now complete.
