About deleting a prospect record

warning 16Deleting a prospect record is permanent and once finalized cannot be undone.  

The process of deleting a prospect record gives you the opportunity to change your mind at certain steps along the way.  However, once past the point of no return the prospect record and all associated records will be gone forever.

When deleting a prospect record, be sure that you truly wish to purge the entire record from the database.

How to delete a prospect record

    1.  While on the detailed view for the prospect record you wish to delete, towards the top-right of the record click the Tools drop-down menu.
    2. Select Delete expand img.

3.  Review the displayed information and click the Continue button to start the Delete Pre-Check expand img or Cancel to abort the delete process.

info 16Pressing Continue does not delete the prospect record from the database yet.

4.  The delete pre-check will run expand img and display the results upon completion:

    successCheck 16 If the delete pre-check is successful, continue onto the next step.

error 16 If the delete pre-check fails, an error message will desplay indicating why the prospect record cannot be deleted at this time.

    5.  Click the Delete Prospect button expand img to officially initiate the delete process or Cancel to abort.
  • A progress bar will display expand img, indicating the delete process is occurring.
info 16Once you press Delete Prospect you cannot reverse your actions!

6.  The delete process will run and display the results upon completion:

    If the delete process is successful expand img, the prospect record and all associated transaction records have been deleted from the database.
    error 16 If the delete process fails, an error message will display indicating why the prospect record was unable to be deleted at this time; click Return to Prospect to go back to the detailed prospect record page.
    7.  After the prospect record has been deleted, click Continue to go to the prospect Search page, or use other navigation options as desired.
