Snapshot
About notificationsNotifications allow you to stay in touch with other ClearView users in regards to a particular prospect record. Think of the notification system as an internal messaging system, where you can contact other users without having to leave the ClearView application. Prospect notifications can be created using the Create Notification link within the Quick Actions sidebar of any prospect record, or opportunity record. There are no restrictions on the content of notifications. They are free-text based and allow for a maximum of 2000 characters. Send notifications to a single user, a specific group of users, or even as a reminder to yourself. Notifications are only visible to those selected recipients. Send department-wide correspondence about a particular prospect, or send private, sensitive information to only a few key people. Stay aware of new notifications as soon as they arrive using the notifications indicator next to your user menu on every page of the ClearView application. Retrieve notifications through the Prospect Notification List, (accessible by clicking the notifications indicator), or by adding the Prospect Notifications List panel to your dashboard. In addition to receiving notifications directly within the ClearView application itself, sending a notification also triggers an email to be delivered, informing recipients that a new notification exists. The email provides information as to which prospect the notification is in reference to, along with a link direct to the associated prospect record. Review notifications and mark them as read to easily filter old notifications out of your Unread list. Reply to notifications, creating a chain of correspondence similar to how most email systems work. Access the Show History records for any notification to track the trail of conversation, and reply to any portion of it along the way. Stay connected with others in your organization without leaving ClearView to do so. |
