About Connections
Connections allow you a unique method of connecting two prospects on a one-to-one basis. Connections can be professional (such as co-workers or business partners) or interpersonal (such as friends or family) relationships. Use Connections to identify how a prospect is linked to others and better direct your solicitations. The assigned Connections may be different between two prospects. For example, if two prospects are brother and sister, you may use a code to label one as the brother, and depending on how the code is configured, the sister will be automatically labeled with the sister code. The assigned prospects may share the same label. For example, if both prospects are business partners, you may use an identifier to label one as a business partner and the same label will be attached to the associated prospect. The way these codes take action is dependent on the way to relationship code is defined. In order to create a new relationship code, you will need to use Table Maintenance.
