Manage Dashboard Settings

1. From the drop-down user menu, click Administration

2. Click on the Personal Profile tab

3. In the Application section, click Manage Dashboards 

• • The Manage Dashboards page displays.

You can also manage your dashboard settings from the Navigation Menu using the Dashboards drop-down.

4.  Click the Create New Dashboard link

• The New Dashboard page displays.

5. In the Name field, type a name for the new dashboard.

Dashboard names are limited to 128 characters.

6. Click the Save button to save changes or the Cancel link to retain your current settings.

Use dashboards and panels to stay connected with the information that is most relevant to you.

3.  In the Options column , click the Edit link in line with the dashboard name that you want to change.

• The Editing Dashboard page will display.

 You can only edit dashboards that you create yourself.  When the Edit link is unavailable for a particular dashboard, it has been shared with you by another user, as indicated in the Created By column.

  You can make a Copy of a shared dashboard, but the original cannot be edited. 

4. In the Name field , edit the current name of the dashboard as desired.

Dashboard names are limited to 128 characters.

5. Click the Save button to save changes or the Cancel link to retain your current settings.

• If saved, the edited dashboard name will now appear in the list of available dashboards.

• The Manage Dashboards page displays.

3.  In the Options column , click the Copy link associated with the dashboard that you want to copy.

•  A copy of the dashboard appears in the list of available dashboards, retaining the same name as the original dashboard with the prefix "Copy of".

 Edit a copied dashboard to change its name.

 You can only edit dashboards that you create yourself.  When the Edit link is unavailable for a particular dashboard, it has been shared with you by another user, as indicated in the Created By column.

1.  From the drop-down menu, click Settings.

• The Settings page displays.

2.  Under Application, click Manage Dashboards.

• The Manage Dashboards page displays.

3.  In the Default column , click the Star icon associated with the dashboard that you want to set as your home dashboard.

 
• The star icon for the selected dashboard turns yellow, indicating that it is set as your home dashboard.

To access your home dashboard, click the Home link on the navigation menu.

1. From the drop-down user menu, click Administration.

• The Settings page displays.

2. Under Application, click Manage Dashboards

• The Manage Dashboards page displays.

3. From the Options column, click the Delete link associated with the dashboard that you want to delete.

• The dashboard is immediately deleted and a status bar appears to confirm.

To restore a deleted dashboard, click the Undo link in the warning indicator bar; the dashboard is immediately restored to the list of available dashboards.

 You can only delete dashboards that you create yourself.  When the Delete link is unavailable for a particular dashboard, it has been shared with you by another user, as indicated in the Created By column.  You can make a Copy of a shared dashboard, but the original cannot be edited or deleted.

If the home page dashboard is deleted, and no new default dashboard is selected, the first dashboard in the list automatically becomes the new dashboard home page.
